Beyond the adventure portions, Hytale will also include mini-games that the Hypixel servers were known for as well as community servers for all fans to hang out in. On top of being able to dig, build and craft until your heart’s content, you’ll also be able to don powerful armor and wield magic and weapons to fight a wide variety of fantasy monsters of all shapes and sizes. The game is a fusion of open-world action RPGs and Minecraft. Character customization also appears to be way beyond what we’ve gotten from Minecraft if you exclude skins. Outside of that, if they do succeed in fulfilling at least half of what they promised without too many issues for it to be unplayable - we have a pretty decent game on our hands that I would imagine being F2P with in-game purchases even if hypixel servers have a notorious history of suboptimal monetization practices, or at least something we can enjoy ironically.Beyond the usual mining and crafting, Hytale will have its own baked-in modding and scripting tools that will allow you to make the game your own. Who thought that high-res textures on low-poly models looks any good? It reminds me of those ugly ass minecraft textures that would stretch a pattern of a near real life cow on a fucking box that is the in-game model. Oh, and on the personal side I really dislike the style they've gone with if you can even call it one. The investment of Riot might be a good sign, but then again have you seen their last cinematic K/DA? With the money they have it might be just pocket change, and their name wouldn't necessarily suffer from being attached to just an unsuccessful game, so no big loss for them either way.

And this one probably beats the record on the feature promising scale, and they're just a community of modders who haven't work on a project like that in their lives and I hope people don't need to be reminded that modders don't always make for good full project devs ( cough DayZ standalone cough), more so they are hiring more people on the website of the game even now. Hate to be the party pooper, but let me just remind you that counter of projects that promised sandbox-exploration-multiplayer-rpg with way too much content to be true from 2012 to this day is through the roof, and all of them are nowhere to be seen now.
